Today is the big day, Dales Christmas Market is officially open. We are so excited and in order to make sure everyone receives the best out of the market we have some top tips on how to make the most out of online markets.

Check all vendors:

Be sure to check all of  our vendors out. A lot of them have so many different gifts that can provide you with great gifts and inspiration. You might just find something great and unexpected!

Follow social media:

Make sure to follow the event on social media, it can keep you updated with what is going on and any offers. Social media pages can be full of lots of market related content about the vendors and so on. At Dales Christmas Market we are doing Instagram Lives all weekend with our vendors, make sure to follow our social media pages to make the most of this.

Make the most of discounts

A lot of vendors are offering discounts at their markets this year. It is 100% worth looking at each vendor’s social media and reading the details of their stall in case they have special offers. Some of our vendors at the Dales Christmas Market are offering discounts on their products, for example Katy Howe Photography is offering 15% off any purchases through the market. Check out our Instagram to see what other vendors we have that may be offering discounts for customers.

Spread the word:

Make sure to share your market experience – whether it be telling people or positing online – it helps small businesses! It will let others know about the market you have attended and it can help spark up a bit of festive conversation with your friends!

Have fun:

If you are doing online Christmas shopping you want to make sure it is as festive as possible! Enjoy yourself while you do your shopping; whether you enjoy a mulled wine, christmas film or a few mince pies. Treat yourself to your favourite festive treat while shopping from the comfort of your own home!

Hopefully these tips will leave you prepared for your online Christmas market experience! Make sure to check out our market here.
